NCB crackdown: 349 kg cocaine seized in Mumbai
India, May 2 -- Continuing its sustained operation against the international narcotics networks, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has seized 349 kilograms of high-grade cocaine in Mumbai. The seized cocaine is valued at '1,745 crores in the international market. Announcing the seizure, Union Home Minister Amit Shah described the operation as a "trailblazing example of a bottom-to-top approach." Shah said that the agency first intercepted a smaller consignment and traced it back to dismember a much larger international network.
