Namo Bharat adds more peak-hour services on Delhi-Meerut route
India, May 22 -- The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has announced eight additional Namo Bharat train trips on the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut corridor to handle rising passenger demand and improve travel convenience during peak hours.
The new services will begin on Friday and are aimed at reducing crowding on one of the country's busiest regional transit corridors.
According to NCRTC, four extra trips will operate during the morning rush hours between 8 am and 11 am, while four more services will run during the evening peak period from 5 pm to 7 pm.
