India, Aug. 24 -- BJP president Nitin Nabin on Sunday held an intensive meeting with the party office-bearers to discuss a range of organisational matters, especially the strategy for high-stakes Assembly polls due in seven States next year, including Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat.

According to sources, the meeting at the BJP headquarters was attended by senior party functionaries, State unit presidents and State in-charges. BJP national general secretary (organisation) BL Santhosh was also present at the meeting. There was no official word from the BJP on what transpired in the meeting.
