India, Sept. 2 -- The Mumbai police on Tuesday arrested a candidate, who had bagged seventh rank, in the Maharashtra Public Service Commission's (MPSC) Drug Inspector (Group-B) examination paper leak case, taking the number of persons held in the matter to seven.

Rituja Patil was taken into custody by the Mumbai Crime Branch's property cell from Nandurbar, officials said.

Police said Patil had allegedly received the leaked question paper before the examination and was advised to deliberately answer 10 questions incorrectly to avoid suspicion. She was subsequently produced before a court and sent to the custody of the Mumbai Crime Branch, officials said.
