India, May 30 -- S Phangnon Konyak, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) from Nagaland, has expressed deep alarm and concern over the reported sexual assault of a minor in Dimapur, demanding swift justice and a united societal response against crimes targeting children.

Condemning the incident in the strongest possible terms, the MP stated that such heinous and inhuman acts have absolutely no place in a civilised society and must be collectively denounced by every responsible citizen.
