India, June 20 -- The Madhya Pradesh High Court has vacated its interim stay on holding the main exam of the MPPSC State Services Examination (SSE)-2025.

This ends the year-long wait for around 4,000 candidates aspiring to become deputy collectors, deputy superintendents of police, tehsildars and other state positions. An official said they will now be able to take the main exam after clearing the preliminary test.

A division bench comprising Acting Chief Justice Vivek Rusia and Justice Pradeep Mittal passed the order on Thursday while hearing a clutch of petitions challenging certain provisions and procedures related to the examination process.
