India, June 28 -- A massive fire broke out at a cold storage unit in Lucknow on Sunday, triggering a large-scale firefighting operation as thick plumes of smoke engulfed the surrounding area. Multiple fire tenders were rushed to the spot, and firefighters worked for hours to prevent the blaze from spreading to nearby structures.

According to officials, the fire erupted at the cold storage facility in the city's outskirts. While the exact cause of the blaze is yet to be determined, preliminary reports suggest that combustible materials stored inside the premises may have fuelled the fire, making it difficult to bring under control.
