India, Sept. 15 -- Maruti Suzuki India Limited announced that cumulative exports of its Made-in-India Jimny 5-door, Fronx and e VITARA to Japan have crossed the 1 lakh unit mark. This milestone is a landmark moment given Japan's status as one of the world's most competitive and technologically advanced automobile markets.

The export journey began with the Fronx in August 2024, followed by the Jimny 5-door in December 2024.

The portfolio expanded further in September 2025 with the addition of the e VITARA, Maruti Suzuki's first battery electric vehicle, reinforcing India's growing role as a global manufacturing base for Suzuki. Notably, the Jimny 5-door and e VITARA are built exclusively in India.
