India, May 25 -- US Secretary of State Marco Rubio visited Jaipur's iconic Amer Fort on Monday along with his wife and members of the US delegation during his official visit to India.

Earlier in the day, Rubio and his wife spent nearly one-and-a-half hours at the Taj Mahal in Agra, one of India's most renowned historical monuments. Visuals from the visit showed the US delegation exploring the UNESCO World Heritage sites amid tight security arrangements.

Following the Agra visit, Rubio travelled to Jaipur where he toured the historic Amer Fort, a major tourist attraction known for its Rajput architecture and cultural heritage. Officials said the visit was part of his broader diplomatic engagements in India.
