Man stabbed to death on Mumbai Local Train after dispute over closing door
India, June 24 -- A 22-year-old man was allegedly stabbed to death inside a Mumbai local train following an argument over shutting the coach door during heavy rainfall, police said. The incident took place in a first-class compartment of a Western Railway local train between Andheri and Borivali stations.
According to investigators, the altercation broke out when passengers argued over whether the train door should be kept open or closed amid the rain. The disagreement escalated into a violent confrontation, during which the victim was allegedly attacked with a sharp weapon.
