India, Oct. 2 -- A 43-year-old man died after an alleged fight over a Rs 700 dispute in Santoshnagar during the early hours of Friday. IS Sadan police registered a case under Section 103(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and began an investigation.

The deceased was identified as Mohammed Iliyas, a private employee and resident of Banu Nagar. According to the FIR, Iliyas left his house around 1 am after receiving a call from his friend Moin.

At about 1.40 am, a resident informed the family that Iliyas was lying motionless near Masqati Ice Cream Shop on CRIDA Road. His family found him unconscious with a head injury and took him to Owaisi Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.
