India, June 11 -- A major railway accident was narrowly averted near Bhubaneswar on Thursday after two trains were found on the same track near the Jharpada bridge area, prompting an immediate response from railway authorities.

According to preliminary information, one train was moving towards Mancheswar from Bhubaneswar, while another train was approaching from the opposite direction. The potential danger was detected in time, allowing railway staff to halt both trains and prevent a collision.
