Maharashtra TET Paper Leak: Mastermind and aide arrested in Bihar, 14 held
India, July 25 -- The alleged mastermind of the Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2026 paper leak case and his associate have been arrested from Bihar, taking the total number of arrests in the case to 14, police said on Saturday.
The Special Investigation Team (SIT) arrested alleged kingpin Vijayendrakumar Gupta alias Bijendra Kumar Gupta and his associate Indrajit Singh from Bihar on Friday, Thane Deputy Commissioner of Police Pawan Bansode said.
The two accused were brought to Pune and then taken to Bhiwandi, where they will be produced before a court for police remand and custodial interrogation.
According to police, Gupta had been under surveillance for several weeks after being identified as the alleged chief coordinator...
