India, May 7 -- Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Thursday welcomed To Lam upon his arrival in Mumbai during his official visit to India.

The Vietnamese President received a ceremonial welcome in the city, where Maharashtra Governor Jishnu Dev Varma and state minister Jaykumar Rawal were also present.

Sharing a message on X, Fadnavis extended greetings to President To Lam and wished him a memorable stay in Maharashtra. "Chao mung den voi Mumbai! Warm greetings and welcome to H.E. Mr. To Lam, President of Vietnam as he arrives in Mumbai today! Maharashtra welcomes you," the chief minister posted.
