India, June 1 -- A social media influencer was found dead at her in-laws' residence in Lucknow in a suspected dowry harassment case, sparking serious allegations of murder by her family.

The deceased, Mansi from Kanpur, had married Sagar Rajput in 2024. According to the First Information Report (FIR), both were active on social media, with Rajput reportedly having a large following on Instagram.

Mansi's family alleged that they had given around Rs.7 lakh in cash along with household items as gifts at the time of marriage. However, they claimed that her in-laws remained dissatisfied and continued to demand additional dowry, including a car.
