India, March 11 -- The body of a 31-year-old man was found on vacant land near Telco T-Point in East Delhi's Patparganj Industrial Area. The incident triggered tension in the locality and protests by family members who alleged police inaction after they had reported him missing.

Police later identified the deceased as Pushpendra alias Akash, a resident of School Block in Mandawali. According to officials, the body was discovered on March 8 on land belonging to the Delhi Development Authority within the jurisdiction of the Patparganj Industrial Area police station.
