India, April 1 -- Delhi Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu on Tuesday urged women to send their grievances through email with contact details, assuring them of follow-up action, during a visit to the Kamla Nagar market.

Interacting with locals in the north Delhi market, the LG said he had noted down concerns raised by several women and requested them to send a one-page email mentioning their name and contact number so that authorities could reach out to them directly.

He said feedback would be reviewed first, following which the complainants would be contacted and meetings would be held with the concerned officials to address the issues.
