LG seeks visible traffic police on roads, choke points
India, June 25 -- Lieutenant Governor (LG) Taranjit Singh Sandhu on Wednesday chaired a high-level meeting with Commissioner of Police Satish Golchha and senior officers at the Delhi Police Headquarters during his first visit and directed the Delhi Police to launch a highly visible traffic police presence on the city's roads and major choke points. He has asked them to aggressively impose fines for wrong-side driving, triple-riding on two-wheelers and helmetless riding.
