India, April 15 -- Delhi Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu on Tuesday said he was "deeply concerned" by the assault on a serving Army brigadier, his son, and his wife in the Vasant Enclave area of southwest Delhi and said he personally spoke with the Police Commissioner and the DCP, directing them to ensure a thorough and swift investigation.

Delhi Police subsequently arrested the two men who were seen drinking inside a luxury car outside the officer's residence, which triggered the incident.
