India, Aug. 25 -- Delhi Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu on Monday directed officials to operationalise unused parking spaces in the city and enhance police presence in Narela. Chairing a coordination meeting with senior officers, Sandhu called for functioning as a "whole of government."

The meeting was attended by the Delhi government chief secretary and principal secretary (home), Delhi Police commissioner, principal director of Delhi Fire Services, Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) additional commissioners, and Delhi Development Authority (DDA) vice chairman, according to a statement from the Lieutenant Governor's office.
