India, June 24 -- The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) will seal a coaching centre in the Aliganj area at 4 pm today, following serious allegations of fire safety lapses and building norm violations, officials said.

The action comes in the wake of the recent fire tragedy in Lucknow that claimed multiple lives and triggered a statewide crackdown on unsafe commercial and educational establishments.

According to officials, the coaching centre was found operating in violation of mandatory fire safety standards and building regulations. Authorities said the premises lacked proper safety compliance, including required approvals and adequate emergency preparedness measures.
