India, May 2 -- A major landslide has blocked the Doda-Kishtwar road in Jammu and Kashmir, disrupting vehicular movement and prompting authorities to issue a traffic advisory.

The incident occurred early Saturday morning near Gatsoo, close to Pul Doda in Doda district, cutting off a key route connecting Doda and Kishtwar. According to the Jammu and Kashmir Traffic Police, debris from the landslide has completely obstructed the road.

Officials said that men and machinery have been deployed at the site, but it may take time to fully restore connectivity. Commuters have been advised to avoid travelling on the route until clearance operations are completed.
