India, March 6 -- Khonsa Battalion of Assam Rifles organised a humanitarian outreach programme for the distribution of hearing aids under Operation Sadbhavana on 03 March 2026 at Khonsa for beneficiaries of Tirap and Longding districts, Arunachal Pradesh.

The initiative was undertaken with the aim of assisting specially-abled individuals suffering from hearing impairment to improve their quality of life. A total of 17 beneficiaries from Tirap and Longding districts were identified and were provided with hearing aids during the programme. The recipients who were in need were identified in coordination with local authorities to ensure timely and genuine support.
