India, June 6 -- Popular educator Faisal Khan, widely known as Khan Sir, surrendered before a civil court in Patna on Saturday in connection with an ongoing investigation into an attack on his coaching institute earlier this week. The move came after an FIR was registered in the case and reports suggested that police teams were attempting to locate him for questioning.

The controversy stems from an incident on Tuesday night when a group of individuals allegedly vandalised the Khan Global Studies Institute and pelted stones at the premises.
