India, Aug. 8 -- Kerala Chief Minister V D Satheesan on Saturday, Aug 8 met US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor here to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation, with discussions focused on higher education, tourism, culture, investment and maritime development, the Chief Minister's Office said.

The CM highlighted scope for closer partnerships between universities and research institutions in Kerala and the US through joint research, academic exchanges and innovation initiatives, besides stronger cultural and people-to-people ties.
