India, Aug. 9 -- Reaching out to the young generation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday urged students to keep national interest at the centre of their decisions and ask themselves how their actions can benefit the country and address their needs.

This exhortation came in the aftermath of the Jantar Mantar protests and Modi's renewed efforts to connect with Gen Z and gain their confidence. The appeal on Saturday was made to the graduating students of the premier Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi. He laid special emphasis on the achievements and breakthroughs made by the young professionals, indicating that the Government is determined to go all the way to retain its appeal amongst the new generation.
