India, March 2 -- Amid escalating tensions across parts of the Middle East, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has sent personal messages of support to the leaders of several Gulf nations, reaffirming Kazakhstan's solidarity with their peoples during what he described as a "challenging period."

According to the Akorda press service, the Kazakh head of state addressed his messages to the leaders of the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait. In his communications, Tokayev expressed "sincere support and solidarity" with the peoples of those nations and strongly condemned any military actions aimed at undermining the sovereignty and security of states he described as friendly and brotherly to Kazakhstan.
