Kalamassery gangrape case: Two more arrested, total accused held rises to four
India, Oct. 7 -- Two more persons, including a woman, have been arrested in connection with the alleged gangrape of a woman at Kalamassery here, taking the total number of accused held in the case to four, police said on Wednesday.
The two accused, Saranya alias Ammu, a native of Alappuzha, and Sanju, from Thrissur, were apprehended in Wayanad on Tuesday night, where they had allegedly been hiding, a senior police officer said.
"They were nabbed from Wayanad where they were hiding and are being brought here. Their arrests will be recorded after they are brought here and questioned," he said.
