July 15 deadline set for private schools to form fee panels
India, July 3 -- The Delhi Government has issued a strict directive to all private unaided schools to set up their School Level Fee Regulation Committees (SLFRCs) by July 15, 2026. Delhi Education Minister Ashish Sood said on Thursday that private schools in the national Capital will have to justify any proposed fee hike on 18 prescribed parameters, including infrastructure development, transportation, safety measures and staff recruitment, and satisfy parents that the increase is warranted.
