India, June 28 -- Union Health Minister JP Nadda will unveil the operational guidelines for the revamped Anaemia Mukt Bharat (AMB) Abhiyaan on Monday during the 16th meeting of the Central Council of Health and Family Welfare (CCHFW), introducing a comprehensive new strategy to strengthen India's fight against anaemia.

According to the Health Ministry, the revised programme transforms the existing Anaemia Mukt Bharat initiative into Anaemia Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan, broadening its focus beyond iron supplementation to include early screening, therapeutic management, healthy dietary practices, digital monitoring and greater community participation.
