Jharkhand must lead fight against cybercrime: Governor
India, Oct. 6 -- Jharkhand should not have any district or region identified with cybercrime and should instead emerge as a leading state in the fight against the growing threat, Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar said on Monday.
Addressing the second convocation of Jharkhand Raksha Shakti University at the Aryabhatta Auditorium in Ranchi as the chief guest, Gangwar urged young people to make technology their strength and wisdom their guide to help build a safer and digitally empowered society.
The Governor said the security landscape was facing new and complex challenges, including cybercrime, digital fraud, data breaches, financial crimes, misuse of artificial intelligence, deepfakes, voice cloning, misinformation and cyberattacks.
