India, Sept. 24 -- Four people, including Trisha Singh, daughter of Jharkhand Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Dipika Pandey Singh, were killed in a road accident in Jamshedpur early Thursday, September 24, police said.

The accident occurred around 3 am on Marine Drive Road near Domuhani, in the Sonari police station area, when the speeding car the four were travelling in rammed into a truck parked along the roadside. The impact was severe enough to leave the car completely wrecked. Police who reached the spot took all four occupants, two men and two women, to MGM Hospital, where doctors declared them dead.

Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the crash and are working to ascertain its exact cause...
