Jewar toll plaza free for nearby villagers
India, Sept. 4 -- Eligible residents of villages affected by and located around the Yamuna Expressway in the Jewar region will be allowed toll-free travel at the Jewar toll plaza from September 17, which was a long-standing demand by local residents and farmers, BJP MLA Dhirendra Singh said on Thursday.
The facility will be available after a prescribed verification and registration process. Eligible residents will have to submit proof of local residence, Aadhaar card and vehicle registration certificate at the designated office of the toll plaza manager.
