India, April 12 -- Bihar JD(U) leaders on Saturday hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi's praise for Nitish Kumar after the latter was sworn in as a Rajya Sabha MP.
Modi had on Friday congratulated the Bihar chief minister on taking oath as a Rajya Sabha member and said he is one of the most experienced leaders in the country, and his commitment to good governance has been appreciated everywhere.
Talking to reporters, JD(U) national president Sanjay Jha said, "Modi shares deep personal respect for Kumar and his way of working. What he has expressed through his social media post is exactly what he feels about the Bihar CM." State transport minister and JD(U) leader Shrawon Kumar, too, hailed the prime minister's congratulatory message.
