J&K flood tragedy deepens: Heavy rain hampers rescue as death toll rises to 12
India, July 20 -- Search and rescue operations in the flood-hit districts of Jammu and Kashmir faced fresh setbacks on Monday as continuous heavy rainfall and poor weather conditions slowed relief efforts. The devastating flash floods and landslides, triggered by torrential rain in Poonch and Rajouri districts, have claimed at least 12 lives, while several people are still missing. Rescue teams continue to search through debris despite difficult conditions.
