India, June 23 -- The Jaipur administration has launched a major enforcement drive against coaching institutes and libraries following the deadly fire incident in Lucknow that claimed 15 lives, sealing 14 establishments and issuing notices to more than two dozen others for fire safety violations.

Municipal corporation and police teams conducted city-wide inspections on Tuesday, checking compliance with fire safety norms, including availability of firefighting equipment, functional emergency exits and valid fire No Objection Certificates (NOCs).
