Jaipur Anti-Encroachment Drive: Mosque, Temples Among Structures to Be Demolished
India, June 8 -- In a major anti-encroachment operation in Jaipur, authorities have suspended mobile internet services in several areas as precautionary measures ahead of a large-scale demolition drive along the Nandpuri underpass in Jagatpura.
The Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) is carrying out the operation to widen a road running parallel to a railway line up to 80 feet. The drive includes the demolition of five religious structures-comprising a mosque, two temples, a satsang building, and a mazar.
