India, July 13 -- Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has launched what it called an "eye-for-an-eye" operation, claiming missile and drone strikes against US-linked military bases in the Gulf region in retaliation for recent American attacks.

The IRGC said the latest strikes targeted American military facilities in countries including Kuwait, Bahrain and Jordan, describing the action as the third phase of its retaliatory operation. The force also warned against further US involvement in regional affairs and tensions surrounding the Strait of Hormuz, a key global energy shipping route.
