India, April 6 -- Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (IPU) will hold its 18th convocation on April 9 at its East Delhi campus, where over 26,000 degrees, including 124 PhDs, will be awarded to graduating students.
The convocation will be presided over by the Chancellor of the university and Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, Taranjit Singh Sandhu. Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and Education Minister Ashish Sood will also attend the ceremony as guests of honour. Secretary of Higher and Technical Education Sanjeev Ahuja will also be present at the event.
