IndiGo raises fuel surcharge on domestic, international flights from October 6
India, Oct. 5 -- IndiGo on Monday announced an increase in fuel surcharge on domestic and international flights from October 6, citing rising and volatile Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) prices.
The revised surcharge will increase domestic fares by Rs 100 to Rs 350, depending on the distance. The airline has also revised fuel charges for international flights.
This is the second increase in fuel surcharge by IndiGo since April. The surcharge was introduced in March.
For domestic flights, the fuel surcharge will be Rs 375 for routes up to 500 km and Rs 600 for flights covering 501 to 1,000 km.
The charge will be Rs 900 for routes between 1,001 and 1,500 km and Rs 1,150 for distances between 1,501 and 2,000 km.
