Indian national killed, 13 injured in attack on Kuwait International Airport; MEA assures assistance
India, June 5 -- A day after an Indian national was killed and 13 others injured in an attack on Kuwait International Airport, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Thursday said that the Indian mission in Kuwait is in constant touch with the affected families and local authorities. The mortal remains of the deceased are expected to arrive in India on June 5.
Addressing an inter-ministerial briefing on the evolving situation in West Asia, Aseem R Mahajan, Additional Secretary (Gulf) in the MEA, expressed condolences to the family of the victim and outlined the Government's response.
