India, May 29 -- Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal has said that an interim trade agreement between India and the United States is close, signaling progress in ongoing bilateral economic negotiations.

The update was shared during a closed-door interaction organised by the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) in collaboration with the Consulate General of India in New York, where Goyal met over 50 global business and industry leaders.
