India, Aug. 19 -- The India-United Kingdom Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) has opened new opportunities for Haryana's industries, MSMEs, farmers, exporters and services sector to expand in international markets. The agreement, which came into effect on July 15, 2026, provides nearly 99 per cent of India's exports with duty-free access to the UK market, covering almost 100 per cent of the trade value. Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is strengthening trade relations with major and influential countries as part of the vision to make Viksit Bharat by 2047.
