India UAE Sign Defence And Energy Pacts during PM Modi Visit
India, May 15 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi held talks with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi and discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation amid the ongoing conflict in West Asia.
During the meeting, India and the United Arab Emirates signed key agreements related to strategic defence cooperation, petroleum reserves and the supply of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).
Addressing the UAE President, PM Modi condemned the attacks on the UAE amid the regional conflict and said the impact of the West Asia crisis was being felt globally.
"India is ready to extend all possible support to bring peace," the Prime Minister said during delegation-level talks.
