India's Real GDP Growth accelerates to 7.7% in FY26, Q4 expansion touches 7.8%
India, June 5 -- India's economy maintained strong momentum in FY 2025-26, with real Gross Domestic Product (GDP) estimated to grow by 7.7%, according to provisional estimates released by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI). The growth rate marks an improvement over the revised 7.1% expansion recorded in FY 2024-25.
Real GDP at constant (2022-23) prices is estimated to reach Rs.323.12 lakh crore in FY26, compared with Rs.299.89 lakh crore in the previous fiscal year. Nominal GDP is projected at Rs.346.36 lakh crore, registering an annual growth rate of 8.9%. Real Gross Value Added (GVA), a key measure of economic activity, is estimated to rise by 7.9% during the fiscal year.
