India, May 12 -- India Post has officially released the India Post GDS 3rd Merit List 2026 for Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) recruitment. Candidates who applied for the recruitment drive can now check their selection status through the state-wise PDF merit lists available on the official website.

The third merit list was released on May 11, 2026, and a total of 6,690 candidates have been provisionally shortlisted across various postal circles.

Shortlisted candidates will now proceed to the document verification and medical examination stages before final appointments are confirmed.
