India, July 14 -- India has officially launched its campaign for a non-permanent seat on the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) for the 2028-29 term. External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar unveiled the campaign at the UN headquarters in New York, introducing India's "SHANTI" vision, which outlines the country's priorities for global peace, security, and international cooperation.
