India-funded hospital foundation laid in Nepal's Manang district
India, May 31 -- India and Nepal jointly laid the foundation stone for a hospital building that will be built with financial aid from New Delhi in a remote municipality in the northern Manang district of the Himalayan nation.
Deputy chief of the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu, Rakesh Pandey, and chairman of the Nason Rural Municipality, Dhan Bahadur Gurung, jointly laid the foundation stone for the construction of the hospital building at ward number 5 of the municipality on Thursday.
The hospital is being built with Indian assistance of NRs 56 million under the High Impact Community Development project, a press release by the Indian Embassy said.
