India, May 5 -- India has strongly condemned Iran's attack on the Fujairah Petroleum Industries Zone in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), which left three Indian nationals injured amid escalating tensions in the Middle East.

The Ministry of External Affairs termed the incident "unacceptable" and called for an immediate halt to hostilities, especially those targeting civilian infrastructure.

"The attack on Fujairah that resulted in injury to three Indian nationals is unacceptable. We call for an immediate cessation of such actions," MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said.

India also reiterated its stand in favour of dialogue and diplomacy, urging all sides to work towards restoring peace and stability in the region.
