India condemns attack on vessel off Oman, says 10 crew members rescued, one still missing
India, July 12 -- India has strongly condemned the attack on the commercial vessel GFS Galaxy off the coast of Oman, calling the incident "deeply worrisome" amid rising tensions in the region. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) confirmed that 11 Indian nationals were on board the vessel. Of them, 10 have been rescued, while one Indian crew member remains missing.
In an official statement, the MEA said the Indian Embassy in Oman is closely coordinating with Omani authorities and monitoring the ongoing search and rescue operation.
